Table application

TASK

We want to add approx. 44 ppm (mg/l) Phosphorus (P) to the plants.

The stock solution vessel is respectively on 1000 L and 1500 L.
To be diluted 1:100.

SOLUTION

The Phosphorus table shows 250 ml (0,25 L) Phosphorus per 1000 L diluted water add up to 43,8 ppm.

If the stock solution vessel is on 1000 L please add:
0,25 L x 10 x 10 = 25 L Phosphorus.

if the stock solution vessel is on 1500 L please add:
0,25 L x 10 x 15 = 37,5 L Phosphorus.

In the Phosphoric acid table it shows that 100 ml add up to 37,4 ppm (mg/l) 44 ppm comes from
44 x 100 / 37,4 = 118 ml = 0,12 L Phosphorus.

If the stock solution vessel is on 1000 L please add:
0,12 L x 10 x 10 = 12 L 75% Phosphorus.

If the stock solution vessel in on 1500 L, please add:
0,12 L x 10 x 15 = 18 L 75% Phosphorus.
